Astana – An economic-institutional mission brought a delegation from Friuli Venezia Giulia, headed by the President of the Regional Council, Franco Iacop, to the Republic of Kazakhstan, where some of Italy’s economic realities are already active. The mission wants to capture a certainly favorable moment for developing the region’s presence, also in view of the International Expo 2017 on renewable energy. This was stressed by Iacop from Astana, where the delegation met with the city administration, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the heads of the National Company Astana Expo 2017, the industrial area of the city, several holdings in the food sector, exports, services and financial investment.
