December 4th, 2015 – The aim of the mission “Italy & Slovakia – Building Together” is to strengthen the presence of Italian construction companies in Slovakia. The program ends today in Bratislava. The mission is part of the activities organized by Ance (National Builders Association) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (it also features an intervention by the Secretary-General, Michele Valensise), Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Agency for the internationalization of Italian firms and Oice (trade association member of Confindustria, representing Italian engineering, architecture and technical-economic consultancies). The Italian ambassador in Bratislava, Roberto Martini, also takes part in the mission, alongside Ance president of the International PMI Group, Gerardo Bianci-. “The Slovak Republic – emphasizes Bianci – is one of the countries of interest for Italian companies in the construction sector. It should suffice to say that in Slovakia, of the €15 billion of EU funds allocated for the Financial Programming 2014-2020, €7 billion are destined to the construction and infrastructure industries. There is a strong interest from the Slovak Government to strengthen road and rail networks, as well as to boost infrastructure in environment, energy and tourism. Our businesses have the appropriate qualifications to become partner in this development program.” (Red)
