Ribeirao Preto – The Italian Trade Agency, as part of the promotional activity dedicated to the agricultural machinery industry and in collaboration with FederUnacoma, has organized the Italian collective participation in AGRISHOW Fair, to be held in Ribeirao Preto (Brazil) for 25-29 April 2016. As in previous years, the ITA offers a broad project that covers large portions of the industry: the project is aimed at rooting Italian companies in the sector in Brazil, mainly through forms of collaboration and partnership. Despite overall Brazilian imports of agricultural machinery declined by 18.4% in 2014, reaching a total of €396.6 million, exports from Italy registered a 3.8% increase during the same period, while direct competitors performed in different ways: the United States fell by -24.4%, Germany by -1.9%, while China grew by 5.6%.
