Nairobi – Kenya represents the last leg of the EVAET internationalization tour organized during 2015 to strengthen the presence of Novara companies in foreign markets. The Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Novara accompanied to Nairobi CRS S.p.A. from Gozzano, Ferplast S.r.l. from Pettenasco, Giacomini S.p.A. from San Maurizio d’Opaglio, and La Torre S.r.l. from Invorio. The multi-sectoral mission took place in December and featured more than 30 business events with local operators, to as well as a meeting organized by the Italian-Kenyan Association for Trade to introduce Novara businesses to potential business partners. The African initiative came after a mission to Sweden (Jönköping) for the subcontracting fair “Elmia Subcontractor”, which saw the participation for the first time (thanks to EVAET, which cut participation costs) of Ferruccio Girardello S.r.l. from Arona and Vipa S.r.l. from Casalino. The Special Agency of the Novara Chamber of Commerce was also present with 34 companies at the “Big 5 Show”, the largest international exhibition for the building and construction sector, which took place last November in Dubai.
