Tehran – The four science parks of Friuli Venezia Giulia – Area Science Park, Friuli Innovazione, Polo Tecnologico of Pordenone and Innova FVG – are participating in the institutional mission led by Regional President Debora Serracchiani. They have agreed to operate a common plan to share knowledge, technology and industrial opportunities with the Iranian Technology Park “Pardis”, supported by the Region and the Iranian Department of Science and Technology. The collaboration will focus on a series of activities that will impact in the short and medium term the business system of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Islamic Republic. The four parks agreed to set an operational path that will lead in the medium-term to open a channel for technology transfer and the exchange of commercial and industrial opportunities. A first series of preparatory activities will soon be implemented, in connection with the procedures that will begin once the embargo comes to an end, concerning the first six months of 2016. These will focus on mapping and exchanging information between Parks (economic sector, corporate structure, possibility of industrial and commercial agreements); a mapping of the characteristics of the research laboratories and the type of research carried out; reporting on developed technologies and patents, highlighting areas of expertise.
