Berlin – The first intervention of the Reggio Emilia Chamber of Commerce in support of 2016 exports can count on a €700.000 investment. The Chamber makes these funds available to those companies wishing to participate in foreign and national exhibitions that are classified as international fairs in the calendar established by the Italian Trade Fairs and Exhibitions. This is the first of the action package promoted by the Chamber of Commerce in support of Reggio Emilia’s exports, which overall can count on over €1.1 million. After the new record set in the year of the Universal Exhibition (€1.5 million, with an unprecedented amount of meetings with foreign delegations), the intervention levels of the Chamber of Commerce for 2016 are still above the average set in the past decade. “Based on the macroeconomic indicators that characterize the different areas of the planet – said the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Stefano Landi – our actions will be aimed, in particular, towards the European market (with a particular focus on Germany, Austria, Scandinavia and Russia), the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Korea. Our goal is to consolidate our presence in the Old Continent – which alone accounts for 70% of total exports and continues to grow (+ 1.6% in the first nine months of 2015) – and also to strengthen Reggio products in those countries that have become the most receptive to our offer”.
