(25 January 2016) Colorful houses, one upon the other, swirling sea views, the imposing figure of S. Maria Maddalena Church with its distinctive bell tower, the ribbon of asphalt that runs below and reaches the arched bridge… This is the time of beauty that can hold together past and present. And this is precisely what Atrani (Salerno) has to offer, even in its faithfully mini-reproduction presented at Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, the largest plastic city in the world with lots of real effects, characters, simulations and moving vehicles. The German project also includes landscapes from Venice, Pompeii, the Cinque Terre, Rome and the characteristic Fiordo di Furore, in a faithful reproduction with lots of fishermen sitting near the beach.
