Tirana – On 19 February, the President of the Republic of Albania, Bujar Nishani, awarded the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Albania with the medal “For special civil merits”. The motivation? The Chamber’s “work in the defense and development of entrepreneurship, with concrete results in the growth of economic exchanges and trade between Italy and Albania, for the attraction of Italian investments in Albania and for the promotion and improvement of the image of Albanian businesses in Italy”. The event was attended by the most important institutional figures, including Government Representatives, the Governor of the Bank of Albania, holders of the largest Albanian companies, as well as the Presidents and members of local and foreign Chambers of Commerce operating in Albania.
