Buenos Aires – Until tomorrow, Buenos Aires hosts the exhibition “Un.It Unesco Italy: the world heritage sites as seen by 14 Italian photographers”. The exhibition, to be inaugurated by the Italian Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini, is organized by the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the city of Buenos Aires, the Italian Embassy in Argentina and the Italian Cultural Institute. There are over 160 photographs on display, presenting the Italian sites of the UNESCO World Heritage List as you’ve never seen them before. Italy’s foremost photographers, including Vittore Fossati, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Gabriele Basilico e Mimmo Jodice, came together for the initiative. The event is part of the initiatives in Argentina for the Year of Italy in Latin America. The latter is a project promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Agency and the Conference of Italian University Deans, with the contribution of many private companies. During the initiative, some 200 events will bring to light contemporary Italy in terms of its cultural, economic, scientific and technological realities. The ambitious and complex project has as its primary objective the enhancement and identity of Italian talent in Latin America. (9Colonne)
