Kinshasa – The Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, Vincenzo Amendola, announces that thanks to the work done by the Italian Embassy, Congo’s authorities have just officially announced to the Italian representation in Kinshasa that a further group of children will soon be united with family in Italy. Once the Commission for International Adoptions and the organizations for adoptions complete the steps to rapidly finalize the necessary procedures, the children will leave for Italy, just like for many other children who in recent weeks have already reached their new homes in other countries. However, there are still some children whose adoption procedures will hopefully be quickly approved, and for which the Italian Embassy in Kinshasa is in contact with the Congolese authorities.
