Ulan Bator – The ceremony in Ulan Bator began in the historic square of Genghis Khan with the guards of honor, and later continued in the State Palace, where Ambassador Ettore Sequi presented to President Elbegdorj Tsakhiagiin his letter of credence as ambassador of the Italian Republic to Mongolia. Following this solemn moment – reads a note – Ambassador Sequi entertained a very cordial meeting with President Elbergdorj, to whom he conveyed the greetings of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella. Ambassador Sequi and Mongolian President then discussed the Italian Government’s decision to establish a diplomatic mission in the country, confirming a mutual interest in further developing relations between Italy and Mongolia, in all sectors.
