Dakar – The vice president of the Sardinia Region, Raffaele Paci, received today the Ambassador of Senegal Mamadou Saliou Diouf, in office in Italy since last June. The meeting was attended by the Forests Commissioner Giuseppe Pulido. Three subjects were discussed: strengthening the presence of Sardinian companies in Senegal, environmental policies, and cooperation and integration of the Senegalese community in Sardinia. The Senegalese Ambassador said that in September there will be a meeting with a bank holding company to consider an aid and incentives strategy for Italian companies to invest in Africa, particularly in Senegal.
