(5 April 2016) Sergio Castellitto makes a stop at the Italian Institute of Culture in Stockholm. April 12 at 6 PM, at the headquarters of the IIC – for the series of meetings “Protagonists of contemporary cinema” Castellitto will present to the public his latest film “No one is saved alone.” Based on the novel by Margaret Mazzantini, it was released in Italian cinemas on March 5 last year. The film screening will be accompanied by a debate with the director who will answer questions from the audience. The film – starring Riccardo Scamarcio and Jasmine Trinca – was also screened in Lisbon on the occasion of “8 1/2 Feast of Italian Cinema” (Cinema São Jorge in Lisbon). Castellitto, for the fifth time behind the camera and for the third time on a transposition of a text of his wife (Margaret Mazzantini, here also screenwriter as in the three previous films), this time brings to the stage the story of a couple: Delia and Gaetano. The two have been married and have two children, Cosmo and Nico. Recently living apart, she kept the house with the children, he lives in a residential community. Delia, which in the past has suffered from anorexia, is a nutritionist, Gaetano is a writer of television programs. Delia and Gae meet for dinner at a restaurant, must apparently discuss the organization of the holidays of their children but that meeting will serve for the two protagonists to make a journey into their love story and discover the reasons for the end of it.
