(April 11, 2016) A journey through history in Casablanca. On Thursday, April 14 at 19.30, in the theatre of the Consulate General of Italy, Professor Alessandro Furlan will lead guests on a virtual journey through the architecture of ancient Rome, as envisioned and built by its various emperors. A walk inside the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus or among the statues and the monuments of 2000 years ago: through a series of three-dimensional virtual reconstructions, it will be possible to admire and marvel at the monumental apparatus built by the Roman emperors. The conference is organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Casablanca and by the Institute of Italian culture in Rabat. Flying over the Urbe as recreated in 3D, it will be possible to discover the initial blueprints, the construction and the evolution of the great imperialistic urban dream. (Red)
