15 April 2016. The proximity of Munich and Italy, the city’s high quality of life, and its notable research centres, have led an increasing number of Italian researchers to relocate to what is being called “Italy’s northernmost city.” This phenomenon will be up for discussion in the coming days in the Bavarian capital. Elisa Romanelli, Ulrico Pekelsen and Leone Rossetti will be speaking at a convention entitled “AIRIcerca: An Official Meeting of Italian Researchers in Munich,” scheduled for 27 April at 7:00PM at the Italian Cultural Institute of Munich. The welcome will be provided by Renato Cianfarani, Consulate-General of Italy in Munich, who will greet young researchers. The purpose of the meeting is to increase connectivity and networking, facilitating the exchange of ideas and information amongst researchers. Additionally, the event will celebrate the excellence of Italian researchers in Germany. The International Association of Italian Researchers (AIRIcerca) will be promoting the convention. Attendance is open and free, although registration is required. It was organized by AIRIcerca, The Italian Cultural Institute, and the Italian Consulate General in Munich, in collaboration with Forum Italia e.V. (red)
