(April 19th, 2016) The passion for Italy and for art. Friedrich Heider and Italy are united by a deep bond. A love relationship born and developed through his many journeys to this dream destination, something that he shared with many other Germans. The rich culture on one hand and the beautiful an various natural landscape on the other lit the fire of the artist’s passion, and they led him to take an interest in this country from a pictorial point of view, completely free from any rule. The result is a mixture of shapes, lively and inebriating colors, that finds its expression in a rich fantasy imagery. This imagery will be on display at the Italian Institute of Culture in Stuttgart (Kolbstr. 6) by Friday, April 22nd to Wednesday, June 29th. The exhibition was organized by the IIC and Deutsch-Italienische Gesellschaft Mühlacker, in collaboration with Freunde des Italienischen Kulturinstituts Stuttgart e.V. (Red)
