Abu Dhabi. The curtain falls on the 16th International Book Fair in Abu Dhabi (27 April-3 May 2016) in the UAE which has seen Italy as the leading star. The Italian participation was promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affaris and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Heritage, Cultural Activities and Tourism, The Italin Embassy to the UAE, the Italian Trade Agency, Book and Reading Centre and the Italian Publishers Associaiton who oversaw the development of the overall project divided into a programme that has showed the numerous and varied facets of the ‘made in Italy’ by showing its exceptionality of literary production in the innovative power of design created by the wonders from the arts to gastronomy.
