The Dante Society during the Cold War, conference with Fabio Ferrarini

(May 3^rd, 2016) “Anyone who was put at the helm of the Dante Society of Berlin during the Cold War would have to maintain awareness to navigate through waters so insidious and unpredictable. The historical value of the Committee can be summarised in what I said at the annual shareholders’ meeting in 2013: ‘The Dante Berlin is a small organisation with a big name’: Fabio Ferrarini from the University of Milan who will be in Berlin on May 4^th to present his book ‘The Dante in Berlin. The event is organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin which will host the conference starting on the 19^th in collaboration with the Società Dante Alighieri- The Berlin Committee.
