Tirana – On the 23rd and 24th June, as part of the World Music Festival in Tirana, “A journey through the history of the Tarantella”, a show by the Mediterrannean Arakne Society. The event is organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of the Albanian capital. The show – in which six artists dance, sing and perform – begins its journey with the oldest tarantella, recited by actors and dancers adopted from a repertory of original popular sources of touring companies that migrated between Naples and Puglia in the seventeenth century.
