(June 23, 2016) “Made in Italy” is once again the star of the American market. The agribusiness from Piedmont flies to New York where from June 26 to June 28, will be among the protagonists of the Summer Fance Food, the most important demonstration dedicated to food specialities and innovations in the sector. It was organised by the Specialty Food Association. 16 regional businesses from Alessandria, Asti, Cuneo, Novara, and Turin. Their participation is part of the integrated project of the Piemonte Food Excellence branch, managed by the Foreign Centre for globalisation, run by the Piedmont region, Unioncamere Piemonte and Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta Chambers of Commerce. It was organised with the technical assistance of the Foreign Centre of the Alps by the Sea. The Piemontese exposition was included in the Italy Pavilion managed by the ICE agency, who for the first time, in collaboration with Federalimentare and Cibus, Tuttofood and Vinitaly Fairs, has organised common spaces for other activities in support of Italian participation who has always had a primary role in this event as the main international exhibitor. This is in fact the ideal platform to expand one’s own business and to be able to count on more than 25,000 operators in the sector between exhibitors and buyers (2,6000 exhibitors and 23,200 participants in 2015).
