Geneva – Francesca Schiavo will have the honor of representing Italy at the Concert for the Mediterranean tomorrow in the UN’s Human Rights and Alliance of Civilisations Room in Geneva. Artists form Morocco, Tunisia, Greece, Lebanon, Palestine, Malta, Egypt, Cyprus, Jordan, France and Spain will also perform. The music will be the means to understand the many different cultures of the Mediterranean. The cast includes 15 artists from 12 different Mediterranean countries that will perform for the first time together in one of the world’s most important institutions: the United Nations building in Geneva. The concert, organised by the Foundation ONUART and produced by Mediapro, was created with the intent of being replicated in other historical and important places of the Mediterranean, such as the Pyramids, Carthage, Baalbek and Jerash.
