Tonj. The Crisis Unit of the Foreign Ministry, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Nairobi, conducted the evacuation of 12 young Italians young including three minors, engaged in a development project in Tonj, South Sudan. The 12 young Italians have been rescued and flown to Juba from Tonj and then on to Nairobi coordinated by the Crisis Unit. In Nairobi the compatriots were welcomed by the Embassy who will assist them during their stay and until their departure to Italy. (9Colonne)
