(July 20, 2016) After the European Games in Baku, the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the Italian Super Cup in Doha and the Davis Cup, the food network ‘Eccellenze Campane’ renews its commitment to sports and approaches Rio de Janeiro for the Olympics. From August 5 to 21, flavours and traditions of Naples and the Campania region will be the stars in Brazil thanks to their partnership with Casa Italia and Coni. Specifically, the network dedicated to food production of Campania will be responsible for quality control of approximately 1,000 meals per day served to guests at Casa Italia set up by Coni at Costa Brava Clube in the North West part of Rio. It will do so by selecting the best typical products from Campania and the rest of Italy and selecting fresh food to find in Brazil. Eccellenze Campane will also be responsible for assisting and coordinating catering with a team coordinated by Enzo Politelli. It is a way for Eccellenze Campane to value their local products abroad. Paolo Scudieri, president of Eccellenze Campane comments “we are proud to be partners of the Olympic Games once again who will allow us to introduce the wine and food and cultural resources of Campania, abroad. It is an important showcase for our delicacies that we hope will serve to plan and develop new activities with Coni”. (Red)
