(1 August 2016) He always carries his saxophone around the world and now Gianni Denitto, Turin saxophonist who combines jazz, world music and technology, is ready to perform in Greece in a concert organized as part of the Symbiosis Lesvos Arts Festival , with the support of Italian Institute of Culture in Athens. The musician – among the best in Italy according to “Musica Jazz” magazine – will perform August 6 at the Arxontiko Georgiadi of the town of Mytilene, on the island of Lesbos. Denitto has recently partnered with the Italian Embassy in Beijing and Maputo, with the Beijing Institute of Culture, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Delhi, Mumbai and Pretoria, and the Consulate in Calcutta, Canton and Perth. He has taught and held master classes in international academies such as the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (Nepal), Midi School of Music, Beijing Contemporary Music Academy and Yunnan Art University (China), Global Music Institute and True School of Music (India), Tafe Institute Perth ( Australia), University of Kwazulu Natal Durban (South Africa), Escola Comunicação e Arte Maputo (Mozambique).
