(August 3, 2016) Italy will be present at the Lemesos International Documentary Festival in Cyprus, an event that each year offers the opportunity for local professionals directors and producers to know the latest trends of the documentary genre. The Festival, this year in its eleventh edition, organized the screening – with the support of the Ambassy of Italy in Cyprus, Cyprus UNHCR and Future Worlds Centre – the documentary “Fuocoammare” by Gianfranco Rosi. The film, which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, will be screened on Sunday, August 7 at 20:30 at the Evagoras Lanitis Centre (Lemesos Castle). Main sponsors of the festival is the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus and is organized by the non-profit “Brave New Culture” in collaboration with CyBC (Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation).
