(August 3, 2016) In recent days the Regional Union of Marche of Mar del Plata has celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding. Members, supporters and friends of the community leaders, municipal and consular authorities are meeting in Argentina in the association headquarters for a party full of regional traditions. Later in the day they were attended by the president of the Comites, Rafaelle Vitiello, the President of the Italian Society Federation, Rubèn Pili, and the Casa d’Italia Association, Alfonso Vottola. Among the attendees there was also the Consul of Italy, Marcello Curci, who congratulated the Marche Regional Union for its contribution in promoting the Italian spirit in Mar del Plata: Curci assessment on the work undertaken over the past five years was positive. Many other greetings came from Italy for the occasion, in particular by the President of the Regional Council, Luca Ceriscioli, who has confirmed his visit to Argentina in September. During the event commemorative plates were delivered from Marche Necochea Family, the Comites and the Italian Porto Association. It were also distributed certificates of appreciation to members and collaborators. (Red)
