Pechino – Città della Scienza promotes, under MIUR mandate, the China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Program, the Italian system of research and innovation internationalization program aimed to China, in partnership with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, the Campania region, the National Research Council, the main Italian research centers and universities, and with Confindustria for the business world. The program, fruit of an agreement between Italian and Chinese governments, has grown considerably in recent years, involving thousands of participants from all over Italy and finalizing hundreds of cooperation agreements between researchers and innovators in both countries. It is in this field that every year, alternately in the two countries, is organized the Italy-China Science, Technology & Innovation Week, a networking and matchmaking event that has enabled to design new high-quality innovation paths following the priorities of the two countries in terms of research and development. Coordinated on the Italian side by Naple’s Science City, the event includes – according to the back to back formula – the two main platforms for exchange between Italian and Chinese innovative systems: the China Italy Innovation Forum and the Sino Italian Exchange Even.
