Ljubljana – The regional council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, on the proposal of the Infrastructures and Territory assessor, Mariagrazia Santoro, voted to join the “Julius Life” cross-border cooperation project, which aims to protect and promote the natural and cultural resources of mountain area from the Julian Alps to the Adriatic. The project falls within the Italy – Slovenia territorial cross-border cooperation program 2014 -2020 involving the Municipality of Monfalcone, as leader, and the partners of the Julian Pre-Alps Park, VeGAL – Development Agency of Veneto eastern area, Municipality of Ljubljana , Triglav National Park, municipality of Postojna, Slovenia CSOD – Ministry of Education Centre for school activities and extracurricular.
