(29 August 2016) The doors of the Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon are open to visitors on Saturday 17 September from 14:30 to 18:30. The website communicates, “those interested in Italian language courses and workshops are welcome to visit the classrooms, the library, the media library, talk to teachers, sit an entrance exam and enrol in courses”. This will be taking place at Rue de la Bourse, number 45. It is an opportunity to discover what the Italian Cultural Institute has to offer in the city of Lyon. The role of the ICI, the cultural department of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry, is to diffuse and promote the Italian language and Italian culture in its area of competency in France. One of its primary objectives are Italian language courses and events that highlight Italian cultural life. (Red)
