(29 August 2016) This month the second volume of Elena Ferrante’s Italian saga was released in Slovakia, “The Story of a New Name”, published by Inaque and translated by Ivana Dobrakovova (published in Italy by “Edizioni e/o”). The Italian Cultural Institute of Bratislava alongside Inaque Publishing House and Ex libris bookstore, have organised a literary gathering dedicated to the author and her first two volumes published in Slovakian “My Brilliant Friend” and “The Story of a New Name”. The event is on Wednesday 4 September at 18:00 at Café Berlinka in Bratislava, hosted by Zuzana Gabrizova. Among the guests are Ivana Dobrakovova and the writer Peter Bily. (Red)
