(9 September, 2016) Summer is ending and it is almost time to fill up the cinemas once more. Perhaps with a more appropriate review of the best Italian films of the latest season, presented at the Festival of Italian Cinema in Hamburg ‘Cinema! Italia’, now in its 19th edition. Six new films have been selected for this year’s festival. They are an insight into our country and into cinematographic production in Italy: ‘Latin Lover’ (2015) by Cristina Comencini; ‘Lea’ (2015) by Marco Tullio Giordana; ‘Non essere cattivo’ (Don’t be bad) by Marco Caligari; ‘Per amor vostro” (For your love) (2015) by Giuseppe Gaudino; ‘Se Dio vuole’ (2015) by Edoardo Falcone; ‘La Stoffa dei sogni’ (The Stuff of dreams) (2016 by Gianfranco Cabiddu. The opening of the festival is schedule for 17 September at 19:30 with the film screening of ‘The stuff of dreams’ including director Gianfranco Cabiddu will be guest of honour.
