Bahia Blanca – A new Ionospheric Observatory equipped with a ionosonde called AIS-INGV, developed in the laboratories of the National Institute Roma2 section of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV)I was inaugurated in Argentina (Bahia Blanca, province of Buenos Aires). The experimental activity in a new Ionospheric Observatory in Argentina begins thanks to a collaboration between University of Bahia Blanca, INGV and its spin-off SpacEarth. INGV collaborates with Tucumán Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Facultad Regional (UTN-FRT) since 2006, they installed a ionosonde AIS-INGV in Tucuman in 2007. (9Colonne)
