Tokyo – A warm welcome at the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival for “7 minutes” by Michele Placido. The film stars the “legendary actress”, Ottavia Piccolo as described by the Japanese press and Ambra Angiolini, who in a press conference reminded us that is the daughter of a working class family and that “being a worker means to have a heart.” Variety has reviewed the films during the festival and called it “exciting, despite the seemingly unattractive theme and surprisingly vivid.” The members of the jury are President Jean-Jacques Beineix, directors Mabel Cheung and Hideyuki Hirayama and producer Nicole Rocklin, the Italian actor Valerio Mastandrea.
