(November 17, 2016) The Italian Cultural Institute of Strasbourg- in collaboration with the Alexandre Dumas hospitality training institute and the Villa Casella restaurant- has scheduled an event dedicated to Sorrento ‘gold’, also known as their limoncello, on November 23. The initiative was developed in the context of the Italian Cuisine in the World Week (November 21-27) taking place in 105 countries with more than 1300 events such as competitions, conferences, tastings, themes dinners, exhibitions about cuisine and science- technical seminars. Features of the typical food product from the Campania region will be the focus in Strasbourg: it is a sweet liquor created at the end of the 19th century by mixing lemons, alcohol and sugar. After the presentation, there will be a limoncello tasting organised by the Villa Casella di Strasburgo restaurant to the guests of the Italian lunch organised by the hospitality training institute.
