Brussels. The European regions network ‘Regal’ aims to go back to the specificities and riches of its territories that differ in what they offer but that nonetheless have a common denominator of tradition, innovation and food excellence. The councillor for Agriculture of Lombardy, Gianni Fava in his opening remarks at the seat of the EU in Brussels, underlined how this European network aims towards food quality, strengthening the European food branding, of the traditions of its territories thanks to traceable products and to the relaunch of food supply chains. Regal is a joint project that is united by the common European vision for food, a heritage that unites certain European regions that are traditionally rooted in tradition such as Lombardy, one of the main producers in the world.
