(1 December, 2016) Co.As.It., the Assistance to Italians in need Committee, under the sponsorship of the Italian Embassy in Athens, organised this year’s Christmas Bazaar on the 3rd and 4th of December at the Italian School of Athens. The Italian Bazaar, now in its 41st edition, is one of the traditions of the Italian community in Greece that is also appreciated by local Athenians and other foreign communities residing in the capital. The proceeds from sales of Italian food products from famous Italian companies that continue to donate during these difficult times, have allowed Co.As.It., in conjunction with the Italian Consulate and Embassy in Athens to contribute towards Italian citizens who are currently residing in Greece with financial difficulties. This year, Co.As.It. will exhibit products from Syrian and Iraqi refugees whose proceeds will go towards Syrian and Iraqi families. (Red)
