Beijing. Leonardo-Finmeccanica and the Chinese company, Sino-US Intercontinental Helicopter Investment announced the signing of a 30-helicopter contract including the AgustaWestland AW139 and AW169 models. The Sino-US aircraft, intended for helicopter rescue tasks, will be delivered in 2017 and used by its parent company, Kingwing General Aviation. With this contract, the presence of Leonardo in China will be further strengthened with more than 180 helicopters ordered by Chinese customers to date. 2016 also confirms a record year, with more than 20 helicopters delivered to the country.
