(December 23, 2016) On January 24 at the Gasteig cultural center in Munich will be inaugurated the exhibition “Spiegel der Seele / Soul Mirror”. The photographic exhibition – sponsored by the Italian Institute of Culture of the German city – includes over 50 portraits of refugees from Italian photographer Marco Pejrolo. It is an interaction attempt between the observer and the exposed photos. As in front of a mirror, every visitor can find a fragment of himself in the work and write his own thoughts next to the photos. This way it will be created a kind of collective book with the impressions and voice that the portrait has raised. The exhibition, which will remain open until February 13, is accompanied by texts of German writer Sudabeh Mohafez and Italian anthropologist Alberto Salza, as well as compositions of songwriter Antun Opic. Their works have been inspired by some of the exhibited portraits. (Red)
