(December 28, 2016) For the second consecutive year the Antoniano choir flies to China for a new tour that will see them protagonists of 8 shows between December 31, 2016 and January 7, 2017. In addition to the events planned at the Children’s Art Theatre of Shanghai, which went sold out in a few hours, this year the stages of the Small CHoir “Mariele Ventre” of the Antoniano of Bologna and their director Sabrina Simoni double and add two concerts in the heart of China, the capital Beijing, where the Small Choir will perform – on January 6 and 7 2017 – on the stage of the Tian Qiao Performing Art Center. In the repertoire created for the new tour, the undisputed protagonists are the songs of the latest editions of the Zecchino d’Oro, next to their funny side, they contain important content and teaching; Then there will be the great international classics like “We are the World” and “Let it Be” that will immerse the audience in full Christmas spirit and celebration. Once again the Small Choir “Mariele Ventre” of the Antoniano of Bologna brings in China three important flags: as well as representing “Made in Italy” in music for children, the Choir is also UNICEF ambassador since 2002 and UNESCO recognition spokesperson of the Zecchino d’Oro among the Heritage for a Culture of Peace since 2008.
