Jakarta. Roma Tre University is the only ‘green’ campus in Rome and in the Lazio region according to the GreenMetric Ranking of World Universities 2016. The University ranks 255nd on its first year of evaluation out of 516 institutions. The GreenMetric Ranking, compiled by the University of Indonesia, annually reviews universities around the world, considering sustainable teachings, and energy, housing, education and mobility efficiency. It is a “contest-ranking” because the universities are the ones to apply in order to compare their efforts in environmental sustainability. Universities are evaluated through an online survey with particular attention to climate change, water and energy, recycling, and “green” mobility. (9Colonne)
