Venice. Five artists representing the United Arab Emirates at the 57th Venice Biennale. The exhibition titled “Sasso, carta, forbici: posizioni in gioco” (Rock, paper, scissors: positions of the game” explores recent artistic practices in the country through the theme of playing. The five preselected artists are: Nujoom Alghanem, Sara Al Haddad, Vikram Divecha, Lantian Xie, and Mohamed Yousif. They are all natives or long time residents in the country. The exhibition curated by Hammad Nasar will focus on the game. (9colonne)
