Holon. The “Overview: Eyeglasses” exhibition will run until April 29 at the Museum of Design in Holon, Israel. The exhibition focuses on glasses – an extraordinary invention in human history and a desirable design object. Starting from the 17th century until the present day, the exhibition explores different cultures, technologies, ancient ophthalmic instruments, and virtual reality. There will also be a display dedicated to the ever-changing tapestry “RGB” designed by Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla from the Carnovsky art and design studio in Milan installed with the support of Italian Cultural Institute of Tel Aviv. The work will remain in Israel as part of the Museum and Library collection after the closure of the exhibition. (9Colonne)
