Perth – During the Australia Day, at the Perth municipality, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Perth has received the official recognition for “Best Community Event of 2017” for the organization of the Festival Italia. The prestigious “Citizen of the Year 2017 ” was awarded to the Secretary General of the Chamber, Marco Mari, by the Mayor of Perth Ms Lisa Scaffidi and Her Excellency Ms Kerry Sanderson, Governor of Western Australia. “Festival Italia” was organized for the second consecutive year by the Italian Chamber of Commerce last September at the Hall of the City of Perth and it was a great success thanks to the excellence of Italian food and wine presented and for the broad participation of the public.
