(7 March 2017) A Lectura Dantis in Italian at the Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires with Professor Claudia Fernández on Thursday March 9 at 14:00. The main topics of the conference that Professor Fernández will discuss are Purgatory as a developing reign, the precedents to the 12th and 13th centuries, Dantesque innovations in tradition, the relation between Purgatory and the other two canti. This conference is supported by Jockey Club Argentino in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute. Claudia Fernández teach Italian at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and Italian Medieval Literature at the Instituto Superior del Profesorado “Joaquín V. González”.
