It will then be shown on April 30th at 22:30 at the Gaumont cinema. The film is divided into three chapters: “In Vespa”, “Isole”, and “Medici”. In the first chapter, Moretti explores Rome’s less travelled roads during the summer and comments on American cinema (“Henry: blood rain”), on the so-called “Italian cinema” where everybody yearns for the lost youth, betrayed traditions, on the beauty of Roman houses, love of dancing and “Flashdance”. The second chapter is about Nanni and his friend Gerardo searching for peace and inspiration on the Eolian islands and finally the third chapter, Nanni recounts of his experience (real) with his illness and doctors’ inability to listen.
