There will also be an opportunity for public presentations accompanied by audio-visual materials and to communicate with the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to pick up information materials on various universities, receive information on grants, and participate in presentations on specific topics. There will be also be a presentation by the Dante Alighieri Society chapter of Cape Town on Italian as a second language certifications and the opportunities they generate to attend university courses in Italy. The exhibition – promoted by the European Union delegation and several EU countries including Italy – is conceived as a broader showcase for European universities. The objective of the Study in Europe Fair promotes European universities to South African students and is an important opportunity for them to find information on different courses, research, scholarships, and to provide useful information on the various countries, as well as bringing European universities and other foreign partner institutions together.
