Prague. Today the regional councilor of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Mariagrazia Santoro, in the capacity of President of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, will attend the inauguration of the photography exhibition organised at the Galerie Novomestské Radnice “Dolomites – the world’s heart of stone” – the result of a collaboration between National Geographic Czech Republic, the Italian Embassy in Prague and the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation. Accompanying Santoro will be: Italian Ambassador to Prague, Aldo Amati, photographer Georg Tappeiner, Dana Emingerova Czech Republic representative to the National Geographic, the Vice President and Director of the UNESCO Foundation Mauro Gilmozzi and Marcella Morandini, and the Councillor of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Pietro De Godenz. The exhibition – open to the public until May 28 – pays homage to the Dolomites with 50 photographs by Georg Tappeiner. (9colonne)
