Toronto. Bringing to the world authentic Made in Italy food & wine, and discovering rural hospitality in agritourisms and farm recipes prepared by the Agrichefs. Among the protagonists of the new international promotion event organised in Toronto by Gambero Rosso with Cia (Italian Farmers Association) and (Cno-National consortium of olive growers) – and dedicated to connoisseurs, foreign press, opinion leaders and companies, and the best Italian wines Tre Bicchieri – have been receptive agricultural structures and chefs of rural cuisine that bring biodiversity to the table, engaging primarily in transforming proximity productions in respect of seasonality and country knowledge. The objective is to spread the network of Italian agritourisms selected by Cia and Turismo Verde, guaranteeing quality and communicating the values of the national agricultural tradition, also through the creation of local dishes. The event was attended by the Italian Consul in Toronto, Giuseppe Pastorelli. The deputy vice chairman of Cia, Cinzia Pagni; the Head of the International Office, Cristina Chirico; the General Manager of Gambero Rosso, Luigi Salerno; the directors of Cno, Francesca Vannini, and Benedetto Accogli were all present.
