Aarhus – Italian success in Denmark. Last Saturday, June 3rd, The Milanese group, The Elephant Claps, the only Italian contestants at the Aarhus Vocal Festival, won the first prize of the most prestigious Northern European festival dedicated entirely to a cappella music. The Italian sextet were the best of the five other finalists from many European countries, winning the first prize thanks to an original and engaging show. The Elephant Claps performed four songs: three extracted from their debut EP released on April 14, and a Prince cover, requested of all participating bands to evaluate their arrangement skills.
