Sarajevo. On 22 June, the Italian Ambassador to Sarajevo, Nicola Minasi, took part in the inauguration of a hydroelectric power plant in Teslic, Republika Srpska. The plant was built by the Italian Group SOL of Monza, present since 2001 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which employs approximately 40 people. The event received local media coverage and was also attended by numerous Institutional authorities of the Republika Srpska, such as the Vice Prime Minister and Minister for the Environment, Srebrenka Golić, the Minister for Health, Dragan Bogdanic, and the Minister for Energy, Petar Djokic, along with the Mayor of Teslic, Milan Milicevic. In his opening speech, Minasi highlighted that the construction of the power plant, which will produce clean energy capable of fueling the equivalent of 700 homes, is an example of the potential that a collaboration between Italian and Bosnian companies brings, particularly in the environmental sector which the Italian Government is actively committed in supporting.
